Why fit?
The Mini F56 uses three underbody braces underneath the car. These beautiful Underbody Chassis Braces replace the functional steel OE units, machined from lightweight billet T-6061 aluminium to add rigidity, exhaust clearance and ultimate strength to enhance your Mini's dynamic performance on road or track.
Benefits of fitting?
The Mini F56 has three underbody braces that are spread the length of the car's underside to provide essential bodyshell rigidity.
Whilst functional, the standard steel OE units are heavy and are far from aesthetically pleasing - something that can't be said of our MMR replacement billet underbody braces.
Machined from billet T-6061 aluminium, each brace has been designed and profiled to remove a considerable amount of unnecessary material, whilst retaining rigidity and ultimately, strength.
With any larger diameter exhaust system, the OE braces give insufficient clearance. So rather than removing the tunnel brace altogether (as some people do), the MMR Underbody Braces give you the option to replace it, giving you the clearance you need plus maintaining crucial body stiffness.
Despite adding stiffness, this improved dynamic performance comes without sacrificing any ride quality or introducing any additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin.
The brace designs mean that installation is simple, using existing body mounting points with no drilling or trim removal required, ensuring fitment is completely reversible.
Each brace comes in a gloss black anodised finish and is supplied complete with new installation hardware. All three braces can be ordered individually, or together as a set of three.

Fitting.
Fitment is simple, using the factory mounting points to replace the OE braces.
No cutting or drilling is required and is therefore completely reversible if required.
