Manufactured from T6061 billet aluminium, our thermostat dress up kit for the BMW N55/N54 and S55 engines offers a high-quality aesthetic update to the OE thermostat cover.
The billet covers are then anodised in our trademark MMR Deep Gloss Black for a beautiful finish. As a further option, if you are fitting an oil pressure sensor or oil temperature gauge you can select the optional extra cap with a 1/8NPT thread incorporated when you order.
By getting rid of the factory plastic parts, you'll also be avoiding the inevitable cracking and leaking that tends to develop as the car gets older and covers higher mileages. Peace of mind never looked so good.
As a nice option to add, the MMR Performance Thermostat Cover set can be ordered to include an oil pressure sensor or oil temperature gauge take off with a 1/8NPT thread kit for the BMW N55, N54 and S55 engines.

A nice added option for the Thermostat Cover Set is for anyone wishing to fit an oil pressure sensor or oil temperature gauge.
You can select the optional extra cap with a 1/8NPT thread incorporated when you order, which will allow you to neatly integrate your sensor (pictured, right).
Alternatively, you can order this cap on its own.

Usage note.
Please note if the part is under excessive heat for prolonged periods of time, it can affect the overall finish which is unavoidable with anodised aluminium products.
